| Mec-Tric Control Company was founded in 1936 under the
name of W. Baynard Simons Company. In 1945 the name was changed to Mec-Tric
Control Company to reflect its focus on mechanical and electrical
products. Today, Mec-Tric Control Company’s specialties are:

Mec-Tric operates out of a 10,000
square foot office building and 12,500 square foot
warehouse
and valve shop
on three acres approximately five miles southeast of downtown Charlotte,
North Carolina. The facilities and land are owned
by Mec-Tric Properties. |

In 1984 Mec-Tric Control Company was asked to represent
a number of key principals in the state of Georgia; thus, formed Mec-Tric
Control of Georgia. At the same time, Abbey Steam Specialty was purchased.
Today, the company operates under the name Abbey Mec-Tric and is located
in Norcross, Georgia. Abbey Mec-Tric has shown strong growth and was recently
selected by Foxboro to represent their measurement and instrument products
in the state of Georgia.

In 2002, Abco Controls and Equipment was formed as a distributor for steam
specialty products and other controls and equipment. With a specific focus
on hard to find equipment at a fast delivery, Abco’s mission is to
foster relationships between manufacturers representative and the manufacturers
they represent.
